Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth. – Matt. 6:10

For this is what Jehovah says, the Creator of the heavens, the true God, the One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited. (Isa. 45:18)

Further, God blessed them (Adam and Eve), and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.” (Gen. 1:28)

Did God’s purpose change?

He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time. He has even put eternity in their heart… ( Eccl. 3:11 )

The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb, and with the young goat the leopard will lie down, and the calf and the lion and the fattened animal will all be together; and a little boy will lead them. The cow and the bear will feed together, and their young will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the bull. The nursing child will play over the lair of a cobra, and a weaned child will put his hand over the den of a poisonous snake. They will not cause any harm or any ruin in all my holy mountain, because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters cover the sea. (Isa. 11:6-9;33:24;35:5-10;65:21-25)

Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. (Ps. 37:10, 11; Prov. 2:21, 22)

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Rev. 21:3, 4)

But Satan who desired to be worshiped – started rebellion! (Matt. 4:9, 10)

Rebellion in the Garden of Eden –  first perfect human tested and failed!

Gen. 3:1-5 – So it said to the woman: “Did God really say that you must not eat from every tree of the garden? For God knows that in the very day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.

Lesson: Satan challenged not God’s power but his sovereignty – the very first universal issue. He even said that humans can be like God of which, we see this destructive and corrupting spirit in many people today. So sad, perfect human failed and joined the rebellion!

Rom. 5:12 – That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.

Rebellion continues – imperfect human tested and passed!

Job 1:9-11 – At that Satan answered Jehovah: “Is it for nothing that Job has feared God? Have you not put up a protective hedge around him and his house and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock has spread out in the land. But, for a change, stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your very face.

Job 2:4, 5 – But Satan answered Jehovah: “Skin for skin. A man will give everything that he has for his life. But, for a change, stretch out your hand and strike his bone and flesh, and he will surely curse you to your very face.”

Job 1:22 – In all of this, Job did not sin or accuse God of doing anything wrong.

Lesson: Satan challenged human integrity to God – the second universal issue. Job didn’t blame God for all his losses and suffering that Satan inflicted on him. A blow to Satan – imperfect human succeeded in remaining loyal to God! But now, who is fit to hold fast his integrity to God as a perfect human – that can rescue humankind from sin and death and to reconcile humans to God?

Rebellion intensifies – back to the test of a perfect human, but this time, passed!

John 19:5 – So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them: “Look! The man!” (Perfect man like Adam)

Phil. 2:5-11 – Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and became human. More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Lesson: “The Word” or God’s spokesman from heaven came down to earth and became a perfect man Jesus, the Christ, who hold fast his integrity to Jehovah God, and he rescued us from sin and death. Yes, Satan was proven a liar – the original serpent, the father of lie. Though many of the sons of God or angels became demons of Satan, the only-begotten Son, Jesus, became obedient to the point of death. God resurrected Jesus, and now, he is at the right hand of God (Rom. 8:34; 1 Pet. 3:22). Hence, humans – both imperfect and perfect – proved that they can be loyal to Almighty God Jehovah, the sovereign and rightful ruler of all creation.

Rom. 5:21 – To what end? So that just as sin ruled as king with death, so also undeserved kindness might rule as king through righteousness leading to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
