If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing. – 2 Cor. 4:3

DID JESUS CLAIM HE IS GOD?

John 10:36 – Do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?

Matt. 4:10 – Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

John 20:16, 17 – Jesus said to her: “Mary!” On turning around, she said to him in Hebrew: “Rab·boʹni!” (which means “Teacher!”)  Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’”

Phil. 2:5, 6 – Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus,  who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.

1 Cor. 11:3 – But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.

WHO IS GOD?

Mark 12:29, 30 – Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ (This quote from De 6:4, 5)

Ps. 83:18 – May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Ex. 6:3 – And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but with regard to my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.

1 Tim. 2:5 – For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus.

IF ADAM AND EVE DIDN’T SIN, WHERE WILL THEY BE?

Adam and Eve, and their offspring will enjoy everlasting life here on earth in peace, security, and good health. Sadly though, they disobeyed Jehovah God, and they joined Satan in his rebellion – which resulted to human suffering and death.

ISN’T JESUS INVITED PEOPLE TO GO TO HEAVEN?

Yes, and those invited will form the heavenly government, and God Jehovah anointed Jesus to be the the King-Designate of this government known as God’s kingdom. (John 18:36) They will become priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with Jesus over the earth for a thousand years. (Rev. 5:10; 20:6) In the last days which points to our time, they are responsible in restoring pure worship after true Christianity was tainted by apostasy since the death of the last apostle. And while they are still on earth, they are responsible for feeding spiritual food to all true Christians. They also take the lead in preaching this good news about God’s kingdom throughout the earth. (Isa. 2:2-4; Acts 15:14; John 21:15-17; Matt. 24:14, 45; Eph. 6:11, 12) Truly, they will do greater works as our lord Jesus stated in John 14:12. What about the rest of people? Those who don’t have heavenly-calling who will survived the Armageddon in the future will live here on a paradise earth as the subjects or citizens of the heavenly kingdom.

Note: In Armageddon, wicked people will be eradicated. At last! God Jehovah’s purpose for human to live in paradise will be restored. (Ps. 37:10, 11; Prov. 2:21, 22)

HOW MANY ARE GOING TO HEAVEN?

Rev. 14:1 mentioned 144,000 with the Lamb (Jesus). Why a literal number not symbolical? Because if you contrast verse 4 with verse 9, you will see the distinction between those who go to heaven as “sealed or has a definite number” while the “great crowd” who will live here on earth is “without a definite number.”

To illustrate, the 144,000 is like a group of senators, let us say in the United States of America, there are 100 senators. Now, how many senators in the entire world?

Imagine what life will be like with these resurrected 144,000 that are powerful than angels – to help Jesus govern the earth and apply Jesus’ ransom sacrifice for a thousand years – to restore humans to perfection again.

HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE WORD “TODAY” IN LUKE 23:43?

Jesus promise to the criminal to be with him in Paradise – will happen in the future and not on the same day he said it. Why so? Because when Jesus died, he was in the grave, and on the third day, God resurrected him. Also, there is no record in the bible of the criminal being resurrected – that same day or even any day after. Hence, NWT accurately rendered Luke 23:43, it reads: And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.”

HOW DO WE KNOW THAT THE ACCOUNTS IN – JOHN 5:28, 29 AND REV. 21:3, 4 – ARE THINGS HERE ON THE EARTH?

In the bible, are there any mention of pain, graves, and death in heaven or heavenly realm? Surely, events in these accounts will happen here on earth in the future.

WORSHIP GOD ON HIS TERM

Jehovah – God Almighty, the Most High, and creator (Ex. 6:3; Ps. 83:18; Rev. 4:11)

Jesus – First-born of all creation, Son of the Most High God, the Christ, and Mediator (Col. 1:15, 16; Mark 5:7; Matt. 16:16; 1 Tim. 2:5)

Col. 3:1 – If, however, you were raised up with the Christ, go on seeking the things above, where the Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

1 Cor. 11:3 – But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God. (Compare Eph. 5:23)

1 Cor. 15:27, 28 –  For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him. But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Hence, we only worship Jehovah, our Father and God Almighty, and we put faith and believe in Jesus, our Lord, the promised Christ and Messiah.

IMPORTANCE OF GOD’S NAME

Rom. 10:13, 14 – For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” However, how will they call on him if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith in him about whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach?

Ps. 91:14-16 – God said: “Because he has affection for me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he knows my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in distress. I will rescue him and glorify him. I will satisfy him with long life, And I will cause him to see my acts of salvation.”

John 17:6 – “I [Jesus] have made your name [Jehovah] manifest to the men whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word.
